Official Konami Shop Giveaway: SILENT HILL Box of Goodies Official Konami Shop Fan Promotion Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. ENTRY INTO THE PROMOTION CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES. THIS PROMOTION IS IN NO WAY SPONSORED, ENDORSED OR ADMINISTERED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH, X, FORMERLY KNOWN AS TWITTER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
These Official Rules apply to the Official Konami Shop Giveaway: SILENT HILL Box of Goodies (the “Promotion”). Two lucky fans will each win a SILENT HILL Box by following the Official Konami Shop X account, and liking and commenting on the applicable post. We will select two lucky winners at random. Entries will only be accepted during the Promotion Term (defined below).
Eligibility: To be eligible to participate in the Promotion, you must be (i) a resident of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, or Canada (excluding Quebec) and (ii) eighteen (18) years or older or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older, on the date of entry. Employees, representatives, officers, and directors of Sponsor (defined below), its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), as well as immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of such employees are not eligible. The Promotion is void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws apply.

Promotion Term: The Promotion begins on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) and ends on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 11:59 PM PT. All entries must be received within this timeframe.
Winner Announcement: Two winners will be randomly selected and announced on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM PT. Please check our X and Instagram accounts for the official announcement.
How to Enter:
X (Formerly known as Twitter): Fans can enter by following the Official Konami Shop X account, liking the post announcing the Giveaway, and commenting on the post with the hashtags #SILENTHILL and #OKSGiveaway. Fans must be followers of the official X account (@konamishop) that they respond to. After the Term, 1 qualifying entry on the X account and 1 qualifying entry on the Instagram will be randomly selected to win a SILENT HILL Box of Goodies.
Instagram: Fans can enter by following the Official Konami Shop Instagram account, liking the post announcing the Giveaway, and commenting on the post with the hashtags #SILENTHILL and #OKSGiveaway. Fans must be followers of the official Instagram account (@officialkonamishop) that they respond to.

• Your entry must be within the general spirit of the Promotion and meet the following requirements:
• Must not violate or infringe the rights of others including, without limitation, patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, publicity, privacy, or other proprietary rights.
• Must not impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Must not be unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another’s privacy, tortious, or contain explicit or graphic descriptions or accounts of sexual acts, or otherwise contain any other content that is objectionable.
• Must not victimize, harass, degrade, or intimidate an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability.
• Must be within the general spirit and guidance of the Promotion, including meeting the terms of these Official Rules.
• Must not contain an advertisement or solicitation not affiliated with the Sponsor.
• Must not contain any musical recording or compilation.
• Must not contain imagery, content, recording, or other element that is owned by a third party.
Entries using automatic entry will be disqualified. Entries using multiple accounts, defined as more than one X account per participant, will be disqualified. Entries will be presumed to belong to the “registered owner” of the X account responding to the sweepstake promotional post. “Registered owner” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address, and will apply to the email address associated with the X account used to submit the entry. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding. Entries will be considered void if they are, in whole or in part, illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error, forged, mechanically reproduced, or obtained through fraud or theft, or if they contain material that does not meet the requirements described in these Official Rules.
NOTE FOR X ENTRIES: If you do not make your entries public, Sponsor will not receive your entry.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to refuse to accept any entry for any reason.
Completing an entry constitutes your agreement to these Official Rules. To be eligible, Sponsor must receive your entry within the Term.
Prize: Sponsor will award two (2) prize packages, each consisting of the following SILENT HILL-themed items:

• Welcome to SILENT HILL Metal Sign
• Welcome to SILENT HILL Trucker Hat
• SH2 Save Screen Lenticular Pin
• SH2 Hiding James Hinged Pin
• Mira the Dog Plush
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Promotional images may differ from actual prize. Actual value may vary. Winner will be responsible for all costs and taxes associated with winning the prize. The prize is awarded “as-is,” without warranties or guarantees of any kind, express or implied.
The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the prize with another of comparable or greater value if the original prize is unavailable. No transfer, assignment, or cash or other substitution of the prize by the winner is permitted. If any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be considered forfeited, and the Sponsor will select an alternate winner from all remaining eligible entries. The Promotion Entities will not be liable for unsuccessful efforts to notify any potential prize winner.
Prize Notification: On or about the Drawing Date, Sponsor will randomly select two (2) potential winners from all eligible entries received. The potential winners will be notified via direct message to the valid X account that was used to participate in the promotion. The winners must respond and provide prize delivery information as well as a completed and signed affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release and submit certain personal information, including but not limited to birthday, location, and legal name within three (3) business days of receiving notice. If no response is received or a response is incomplete, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify the individual selected and select at random an alternate potential winner following the same process.
Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize, a prize winner consents to the Promotion Entities’ use of his/her likeness, photograph, name, biographical information, entry, and/or voice for advertising and publicity purposes in any and all media worldwide (including winners list) without additional compensation or notification. The name and city/state/country of residence of the prize winner may be utilized in communications and advertising, including being posted on the websites of the Promotion Entities.
Right to Modify: If the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines that the Promotion or any portion of the Promotion is impractical, fraudulent, void, unlawful, or if there are any technical or administrative malfunctions, errors, or other problems that affect the structure, terms, or lawful administration of the Promotion, the Sponsor may terminate, cancel, or otherwise modify the Promotion, in whole or in part, at its sole discretion. Any changes to the Promotion will be announced on the official X account and/or the Official Konami Shop website.
Limitation of Liability: By participating in the Promotion, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless X, Sponsor, and its related companies, and each such company’s respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, your participation in the Promotion or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) claims arising from any breach or alleged breach by you of these Official Rules; (b) claims arising from unauthorized human intervention in the Promotion; (c) claims arising from technical or printing errors; (d) claims arising from lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail or email; (e) claims arising from errors in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; (f) claims arising from injury, death, or damage to persons or property; or (g) claims based on defamation, infringement of intellectual property rights, or on the rights of publicity or privacy. You further agree that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the actual out-of-pocket costs associated with participating in the Promotion, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorneys’ fees. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHTS OR CLAIMS TO INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT AND WHETHER BASED ON NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO ALL ENTRANTS. IF YOU ARE A CALIFORNIA RESIDENT, YOU WAIVE ANY AND ALL RIGHTS UNDER SECTION 1542 OF THE CIVIL CODE OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, WHICH STATES THAT “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS THAT THE CREDITOR OR RELEASING PARTY DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE AND THAT, IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER, WOULD HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR OR RELEASED PARTY.”
Disputes: This Promotion and the Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising under or in relation to the Promotion that cannot be settled amicably shall be resolved exclusively by the state and federal courts in Los Angeles County, California.
